The Supreme Electoral Council's third provisional report, covering 99.99 per cent of tally sheets from 13,459 polling boards in 3,106 voting centres, gave the FSLN ticket of Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo 2,093,834 votes, or 75.87 per cent of valid votes, ahead of the PLC on 395,406 (14.33), CCN on 89,853 (3.26), ALN on 85,711 (3.11), APRE on 48,429 (1.75) and PLI on 46,510 (1.69). It reported 2,921,430 total votes in the presidential race, 2,759,743 valid and 161,687 null, and a turnout it described as a historic 65.26 per cent. Separate tables give the National Assembly national-list vote, in which the FSLN took 2,039,717 votes or 74.17 per cent of 2,750,181 valid votes, the departmental-list vote and the Central American Parliament vote. The report records the presence of 232 electoral companions from 27 countries, more than 1,300 national companions and more than 600 journalists, and states that parties could lodge review appeals against the provisional results between 16 and 18 November 2021.
