EU EOM Mozambique 2024 - Post-election Press Statement no. 3

Issued the day after the National Election Commission announced provisional results, the mission stated that the announcement had not dispelled its concerns about the transparency of counting and tabulation, repeated its request that results be published disaggregated by polling station, and called on the Constitutional Council to address the parties' challenges. It also condemned the violent dispersal of demonstrators and the political violence of the preceding days.
