A TDEA-FAFEN dataset compiled from Election Commission records recording 1,768,471 rejected ballots out of 61,282,920 polled in the National Assembly election of 8 February 2024, a rejection rate of 2.89 per cent, lower than in 2013 and 2018 despite the higher absolute total. Across all five assemblies elected the same day 3,611,145 ballots were rejected, the highest combined figure recorded in any Pakistani general election. Punjab had the largest absolute total at 1,091,111 and Balochistan the highest rate at 4.04 per cent, with Sindh at 3.44 per cent and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at 2.97 per cent.
