Riksdag notice of 18 September 2026, 15.41, stating that Speaker Andreas Norlén, after talks with representatives of the Riksdag parties and consultation with the deputy speakers, gave Social Democratic leader Magdalena Andersson the task of exploring the conditions for forming a government that the Riksdag would tolerate. She is to report on the task to the Speaker of the newly elected Riksdag, who will then announce how the formation of a government continues.
