“Electronic voting machines cannot be trusted and can be rigged without trace”

The useful question is not whether machines are used but whether an independent physical record exists to check them against. Where that record exists, the claim has been tested and failed repeatedly: Brazil’s audited electronic records and ballot bulletins showed no alteration; Korea’s Supreme Court tested computer-manipulation claims across multiple nullification suits and rejected them; the Philippine "man-in-the-middle" claim was rejected by both accredited citizens’ arms; Indonesia’s Sirekap discrepancies were real but Sirekap is a display and data-entry aid, not the legal count, which rests on physical forms. Where no paper record exists the concern is legitimate — which is why this database records ballot type per country rather than treating "electronic" as a verdict.
