Ruling on the amparos arising from Congress's 14 January 2024 decision to seat the Movimiento Semilla deputies as independents, the Court sets out its own chain of electoral rulings: in file 3731-2023 its order of 1 July 2023 required the departmental electoral boards to convene a fresh scrutiny review hearing, compare the tally sheets and, if a recount proved necessary, order one by reasoned resolution, while the TSE suspended the qualification and officialization of results; in file 3985-2023 its order of 13 July 2023 declared that the criminal judge's 12 July suspension of Semilla's legal personality did not affect TSE Agreement 1328-2023 of 12 July, so the run-off would proceed with the tickets it had certified; in files 4010-2023 and 4013-2023 its order of 31 July 2023 found the tally-sheet review complete; and in file 6175-2023 its judgment of 14 December 2023 ordered Congress and its Executive Board to guarantee the effective taking of office of every official elected in the 2023 process.
