Eleksyon 2022 voter turnout at 83%, highest in PH history

Reports COMELEC's announcement of 18 May 2022 that 55,549,791 of 65,745,512 registered voters cast ballots on 9 May, which the commission described as 83% turnout and the highest in the history of automated elections in the Philippines, against 81.95% in 2016 when 44,549,848 of 54,363,844 registered voters took part.
