The Doppelganger operation clones the websites of legitimate European and North American media and government bodies, publishing fabricated articles at typosquatted addresses so the story arrives with a masthead attached. Its electoral output includes fraud claims aimed at Poland and Germany. The tell is infrastructural rather than editorial — the domain, not the prose — which is why archived captures of the cloned addresses matter more than analysis of the text.
