MK Tolak Dalil Ganjar-Mahfud Menyoal Dugaan Pelanggaran dalam Penyelenggaraan Pilpres 2024 (Putusan Nomor 2/PHPU.PRES-XXII/2024)

The Constitutional Court rejected the Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD challenge to the 2024 presidential result. On the Sirekap electronic recapitulation system it recorded that the KPU accepted its data were not validated and were therefore insufficiently accurate, causing public disquiet, but held that the legal basis of the result was the tiered manual recapitulation and that Sirekap served only transparency. The Court recommended that Sirekap be audited by a competent independent body before future use, that its management be opened to a body other than the election administration, and that Bawaslu's handling of complaints be reformed.
