New People expect to increase their number of State Duma deputies from 13 to 19

Interfax report of 21 September 2026 giving the Central Election Commission's data after 96.95 per cent of precinct protocols had been processed: United Russia 57.83 per cent of the federal party-list vote, the Communist Party 13.76 per cent, LDPR 9.01 per cent, New People 7.96 per cent (5.32 per cent in 2021) and A Just Russia 5 per cent. It quotes New People leader Alexey Nechayev telling a press conference that on preliminary counts the party would have 19 seats, up from 13 in the outgoing Duma, and that at least half of its supporters were under 35.
