Rather than argue a claim, this pattern borrows the credibility of an outlet that would never make it. The Doppelganger operation clones the websites of legitimate European and North American media and government bodies, publishing fabricated articles at typosquatted addresses so the story arrives with a masthead attached. Its electoral output includes fraud claims aimed at Poland and Germany. The tell is infrastructural rather than editorial — the domain, not the prose — which is why archived captures of the cloned addresses matter more than analysis of the text.
