Tender for the provisional vote count in the 2023 elections concluded and awarded to Indra

The National Electoral Directorate announced that the contract to run the provisional count for the 2023 primaries and general election went to the Spanish firm Indra, which bid 6,667,412,627 pesos against one other technically qualified bidder. The draft specification had been published a month before the deadline and 75 comments from political parties, technology companies and civil society organisations were taken into account in the final tender documents.
