Funding & independence
The project takes no funding from political parties, candidates, campaigns, or governments. Its independence is structural: there is no advertiser, sponsor, or owner whose interests a finding could threaten.
Every edit is public
The content is stored in a public version-controlled repository. Every addition and correction is timestamped and attributable to a change, and every page links its own edit history. There is no private editorial trail.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it in the open and record what changed. Organizations or individuals named in a finding can submit a response, which is linked from the relevant page.
Your privacy
We keep measurement minimal and disclosed. Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless and aggregate — no cookies, no personal profiles — and runs for everyone. Google Analytics 4 runs only if you accept the consent banner; until then, Google Consent Mode keeps analytics and advertising storage denied and sets no cookies. We run no advertising and sell no data. Theme, language, and your consent choice are stored only in your own browser.
