Meduza reports on 16 September 2026 that the Telegram channel 'War on Fakes' published an AI-generated video in which Leonardo DiCaprio with six fingers, Cristiano Ronaldo and the Alien put ballots into a box while a voice-over warns that videos of violations may be generated by AI; the post urged readers to trust only official sources, and the video had over 100,000 views and was reposted by other channels. Meduza states that the channel is run by ANO Dialog, set up by the Moscow authorities in 2019, which a 2023 joint investigation by Meduza, Important Stories and The Bell found to be overseen in the Presidential Administration by Sergey Kiriyenko.
