Ecuador 2027 Local and CPCCS Elections
Although officially branded the 2027 elections because the winners' terms begin in 2027, polling is confirmed for Sunday 29 November 2026.
Ecuador will elect 5,749 principal provincial, municipal, parish and citizen-participation officials on 29 November. A 13.8-million-person register, thousands of offices and candidacies, statutory gender and youth rules, CPCCS candidate vetting, overseas participation and multiple results systems make audit access and precise voter information especially important.
What to watch
Each point is classified under the same five categories as a documented finding, so an upcoming election reads with the same frame as a past one.
- Порушення процесу
Whether voters moved to the passive register after four inactive elections receive clear notice and an effective route to verify or restore their status before the roll closes.

Whether candidate registration applies parity, alternation, the 50% women list-head rule and youth requirements consistently across national, provincial, cantonal and parish organizations.
See the source - Статистичні аномалії
Whether polling-board records reconcile across the many local contests and with the presentation platform, and whether accredited party auditors can inspect corrections and overseas processing.

Whether the unusual 2027 label for a 2026 polling day, the large number of ballot categories or misleading CPCCS candidate material creates confusion that official voter education addresses promptly.
