Fiji 2026–27 General Election
This is the constitutional window's final day, not an announced polling day. The election may be held at any time from 7 August 2026 through 6 February 2027 after the president issues the writ.
Fiji's campaign period is open, but the writ and polling date have not yet been issued. Voters will fill 55 seats through a single nationwide open-list proportional contest. Date communication, register closure, postal and pre-poll access, candidate-number voter education, station-level counting and the public results system are the main checkpoints.
What to watch
Each point is classified under the same five categories as a documented finding, so an upcoming election reads with the same frame as a past one.
- Порушення процесу
When the writ fixes polling, nomination and return dates, and whether the FEO communicates register closure and the final polling timetable consistently across islands and overseas communities.
See the source - Порушення процесу
Whether eligible remote, pre-poll and overseas postal voters receive application information and ballot material with enough time to participate and cure avoidable errors.
See the source - Статистичні аномалії
Whether polling-station counts, admitted postal totals and the public results platform reconcile through final seat allocation, with any system outage or correction logged and explained.
See the source - Інформаційні операції
Whether false polling dates or misleading explanations of the candidate-number ballot and five-percent threshold circulate before the writ, and whether corrections use official voter material.

Scheduled dates come from national election authorities and are linked above. Dates can move; where one is not yet fixed by decree it is marked as expected rather than confirmed. Listing an election here is not a prediction that anything improper will occur — it is a statement about what would be worth checking if it did.
