What we are
An evidence database, a published methodology, an archive, and a teaching resource. We separate proven result falsification from process violations, foreign interference, information operations, and mere statistical anomaly — because conflating them is how credibility dies.
What we are not
We are not a campaign, a partisan outlet, a false-balance machine, or a rumor amplifier. We publish what the evidence supports, at the confidence the evidence supports — and we say plainly when a famous claim is false.
Core principles
- Separation of categories. Falsification, process violations, interference, information operations, and anomalies are never mixed.
- Confidence tiers on everything. Every finding is labeled by how strong the evidence is, and the standard for each tier is public.
- Primary sources, archived. Every fact traces to a citable source; every source gets an archive link. No source, no claim.
- Symmetric standards. The same taxonomy and evidence bar applies to every country, party, and government.
- Every edit is public. The content is version-controlled; the full edit history is the audit trail.
Independence & anonymity
This project is run independently and, for security reasons, pseudonymously — it documents state-linked influence operations. That choice is about protecting the people doing the work, not about hiding accountability: the method is transparent, the sources are public, and every change is recorded.
