Russian analyst who exposed fraud in March election wanted on drug charge

Reports that electoral analyst Ivan Shukshin — whose statistical analysis of the 2024 presidential election estimated that about 22 million votes attributed to Vladimir Putin were anomalous, consistent with ballot-stuffing — was placed on Russia's wanted list after exposing the irregularities; Novaya Gazeta Europe's own calculation put the figure as high as 31 million.
