State Duma election turnout stands at 59.68% after processing 99.89% of ballots

TASS reports that Central Election Commission member Pavel Andreyev said at a forum on 22 September 2026 that turnout in the election to the ninth State Duma stood at 59.68 per cent after 99.89 per cent of ballots had been processed, with 67,279,994 people voting. He said not all data had yet been received and linked the turnout to voters' trust in the security of voting, including electronic voting. TASS notes that the final turnout figure would be announced later.
