Dead voters claim
Definition
The recurring allegation that ballots were cast in deceased people’s names — almost always traceable to roll maintenance lag or record matching error rather than voting.

A register containing more names than eligible voters, usually through failure to remove the deceased or emigrated — it enables fraud narratives whether or not it enables fraud.
Record linkage error
False matches produced when two databases are joined on name and date of birth — the technical cause behind most “duplicate” and “dead voter” claims.
Voter roll
The official register of eligible voters — its accuracy sets the ceiling on election quality, and both inflation and wrongful removal are integrity failures.
