Germany complains to Russia over pre-election cyber attacks

Germany told Moscow to halt 'illegal cyber-activities' after a rise in phishing against politicians before the September 2021 vote, saying it had reliable information attributing Ghostwriter to cyberactors of the Russian state, specifically the GRU.
