The Supreme Court unanimously upheld the Constitutional Court's annulment, agreeing that the use of tippex, altered, duplicate, fake, uncustomised, reserve and unsigned tally sheets amounted to irregularity under the Act, and confirmed the 50% + 1 majority requirement — clearing the way for the 23 June 2020 fresh election.
