Electoral record

Nicolás Maduro

VenezuelaHead of statePresident of Venezuela

President of Venezuela since 2013. The CNE proclaimed his re-election on 29 July 2024 without publishing polling-station results, and the government-aligned Supreme Tribunal of Justice later validated the outcome. The Carter Center concluded the election could not be considered democratic, and its analysis of opposition-collected actas found the announced result statistically impossible.

This is not a biography collection. Entries cover a person's record on elections and voting rights only, and every entry carries a citation to a court ruling, an official finding, or an election-observation report. Nothing appears here without a source, and inclusion is not a judgement about a person.

Electoral record

Each entry is dated, categorised by what it did to the conduct of an election, and cited.

Proclaimed winner of the 28 July 2024 presidential election by the CNE with 51.2% of the announced vote. The Carter Center found the process did not meet international standards of electoral integrity, and its review of actas from 81.7% of polling stations showed the announced totals were statistically impossible.
